Without private giving, many of our scholarship students would not be able to attend Morgan.  Our students are more than recipients of others generosity, however.  They’re donors themselves!  Giving their resources and time to Morgan and helping to build a culture of philanthropy.

This year Morgan students created their own legacy through the on-campus chapter of the Morgan State University Section of the National Council of Negro Women with a $10,500 gift establishing the Mary McLeod Bethune and Dr. Dorothy I. Height Endowed Scholarship Fund to benefit Morgan students based on academic achievement and demonstrated financial need.

Endowment gifts have a strong and lasting influence on Morgan’s character and build institutional capacity in the most fundament way.  We thank our on campus student chapter of the National Council of Negro Women for their most generous and thoughtful gift.
